25 weeks

Pregnancy Highlights
How Far Along: 25weeks

Size of baby: According to babycenter.com the baby is about the size of a rutabaga.
Head to heels, your baby now measures about 13 1/2 inches. His weight — a pound and a half — isn't much more than an average rutabaga, but he's beginning to exchange his long, lean look for some baby fat. As he does, his wrinkled skin will begin to smooth out and he'll start to look more and more like a newborn. He's also growing more hair — and if you could see it, you'd now be able to discern its color and texture.
Total Weight Gain/Loss: +17 pounds. Despite feeling like I look much further along than 6 months, at my doctor's appointment last week she measured my belly and said I was right on track growth wise.
Maternity Clothes: Full on maternity now. i actually shopped a TON over the weekend and need to dial it down a notch....lol
Gender: Still boy parts
Movement: This kid is a mover now appears to be awake all of the time.
What I miss: Not a whole lot right now.
Sleep: Eh.....for some reason i have had a harder time just falling asleep the last few nights which has really never been an issue for me.
Symptoms: my complection has gotten a little wonky lately but hopefully that will return after this is over.
Cravings: Still craving sweet tea amd salads
Best Moment this week: Spending time with friends and family over the holidays and having a little time off of work.
What I am looking forward to: We are volunteering at a soup kitchen this weekend and i feel so good about it. I have been so blessed and it will be nice to give something back.

23 weeks

Size of baby: According to babycenter.com the baby is about the size of a large mango.
Turn on the radio and sway to the music. With his sense of movement well developed by now, your baby can feel you dance. And now that he's more than 11 inches long and weighs just over a pound (about as much as a large mango), you may be able to see him squirm underneath your clothes. Blood vessels in his lungs are developing to prepare for breathing, and the sounds that your baby's increasingly keen ears pick up are preparing her for entry into the outside world. Loud noises that become familiar now — such as your dog barking or the roar of the vacuum cleaner — probably won't faze him when he hears them outside the womb
Total Weight Gain/Loss: +15 pounds.
Maternity Clothes: I can still wear a lot of my regular shirts however some of them are getting mighty short. Jayme and I went on a marathon shopping spree last weekend and i did pick up a few things from Ross.
Gender: Team Blue!
Movement: He's quite the mover and shaker in there and his kicks are getting more prominent on the outside as well.
What I miss: F was gone for 9 days while traveling for work so i was missing him quite a bit.
Sleep: Better than last week.
Symptoms: tummy feeling tighter and tighter
Cravings: SWEETS.... i have been eating more candy lately which is probably not the best idea.
Best Moment this week: Getting ready for Thanksgiving next week.
What I am looking forward to: the weekend and catching up on some sleep over the holidays.

22 Weeks

Pregnancy Highlights
How Far Along: 22 weeks
Size of baby: According to babycenter.com the baby is about the length of a spaghetti squash (whatever the hell that is)
At 11 inches (the length of a spaghetti squash) and almost 1 pound, your baby is starting to look like a miniature newborn. His lips, eyelids, and eyebrows are becoming more distinct, and he's even developing tiny tooth buds beneath his gums. His eyes have formed, but his irises (the colored part of the eye) still lack pigment. If you could see inside your womb, you'd be able to spot the fine hair (lanugo) that covers his body and the deep wrinkles on his skin, which he'll sport until he adds a padding of fat to fill them in. Inside his belly, his pancreas — essential for the production of some important hormones — is developing steadily.
Total Weight Gain/Loss: +15
Maternity Clothes: We have entered the stage of full on maternity wear.
Gender: Team Blue! Xander Cruz
Movement: He's been moving a lot more and I can feel him pretty well on the outside. The other night around 12:30 I thought that he was having a drum session in my belly. Dominic has also been able to feel his little brother kick as of this week.
What I miss: i still miss sushi terribly.
Sleep: pretty good this week i did take a few naps but nothing major.
Symptoms: No real pregnancy symptoms this week. The belly has started to get a little itchy but i think that is because the weather is getting colder.
Best Moment this week: Just feeling the constant movement is very reassuring and booking my maternity photo session.
What I am looking forward to: getting off a few days for Thanksgiving in a few weeks.

21 weeks

Pregnancy Highlights
How Far Along: 21 weeks
Size of baby: According to babycenter.com the baby is about the length of a carrot
Your baby now weighs about three-quarters of a pound and is approximately 10 1/2 inches long — the length of a carrot. You may soon feel like he's practicing martial arts as his initial fluttering movements turn into full-fledged kicks and nudges. You may also discover a pattern to his activity as you get to know him better. In other developments, your baby's eyebrows and lids are present now.
Total Weight Gain/Loss: +14 pounds
Maternity Clothes: still all maternity pants and a mix of tops.
Gender: Team Blue! Xander Cruz
Movement: He's getting more and more active, especially in the mornings and late evenings.
What I miss: being able to shave my legs without being out of breath.
Sleep: Still pretty good. i do still take some naps after work here and there.
Symptoms: some abdominal stretching but nothing major
Cravings: Salads and chocolate. i am dying to dive into our leftover halloween candy
Best Moment this week: Getting the report that everything looks good on the anatomy scan.
